Ο-NEF
The Open-Source Network Exposure Function (NEF) solution is an advanced open experimentation framework designed to implement NEF APIs, facilitating the evaluation of vertical applications acting as Application Functions (AFs). Built using RESTful APIs, this solution allows seamless interaction with third-party applications, proprietary equipment, and AI/ML services. A key feature of the Ο-NEF is its compliance with 3GPP standards, ensuring interoperability with other solutions. For instance, its exposure functionalities can be effortlessly integrated with a production-ready 5G Core Service-Based Architecture (SBA). Ο-NEF adheres to the 3GPP CAPIF standards, functioning as an API Provider within the OpenCAPIF ecosystem.
