Provider

Check out the providers of OpenCAPIF and their contributions to the ecosystem.

The following Network Functions are providing APIs that have been validated to work with OpenCAPIF:

Ο-NEF

Ο-NEF by NCSR Demokritos

The Open-Source Network Exposure Function (O-NEF) solution is an advanced open experimentation framework designed to implement NEF APIs, facilitating the evaluation of vertical applications acting as Application Functions (AFs). Built using RESTful APIs, this solution allows seamless interaction with third-party applications, proprietary equipment, and AI/ML services. A key feature of the Ο-NEF is its compliance with 3GPP standards, ensuring interoperability with other solutions. Ο-NEF adheres to the 3GPP CAPIF standards, functioning as an API Provider within the OpenCAPIF ecosystem. Learn more about it »

MC-SEAL

MC-SEAL by Nemergent Solutions

MC-SEAL (Mission Critical SEAL) brings 3GPP-compliant Mission Critical Services (MCX) communication stratum exposed following Service Enabler Architecture Layer (SEAL) architecture definition, so that all functionalities or entities exposed through APIs can be integrated with CAPIF and be used by a variety of verticals. Such an approach facilitates access to MCX technology for end-users, enables interaction between different services reinforcing their synergies, and fosters multi-disciplinary MCX deployments where each vertical can interact with the most interesting APIs for its sector. Among its functionalities, MC-SEAL provides access to APIs to handle management servers like identity, key, configuration or group application functions. Additionally, it offers access to location info and its management, plus functions like analytics or notification service.

open-exposure NEF

open-exposure NEF by EURECOM

open-exposure NEF provides a comprehensive implementation of the 3GPP Network Exposure Function (NEF), supporting a wide range of standardized APIs commonly used across 5G core networks. Its modular, microservice-based architecture enables scalability, flexibility, and extensibility, allowing for the seamless introduction of new APIs and exposure mechanisms to address evolving service and network requirements. Developed in alignment with 3GPP Release 18 specifications, it natively integrates the Common API Framework (CAPIF) for unified API publishing, discovery, logging, and security management. The platform has been validated with multiple open-source 5G core implementations, ensuring interoperability and ease of integration in diverse deployment environments. Learn more about it »

NEF - MonitoringEvent API

NEF - MonitoringEvent API by NCSR Demokritos

An open source implementation of Monitoring Event API from the Network Exposure Function (NEF) based on 3GPP specifications. This project enables Location Reporting Services for User Equipment (UE) via the 5G Core, delivering location information to Application Functions (AF) upon request. It demonstrates a practical API capable of securely communicating with the 5G System to retrieve location reporting data by the usage of the Common API Framework (CAPIF). It acts as a provider in the CAPIF Framework authorizing incoming requests from external applications. Designed with a cloud-native architecture, it ensures seamless integration with any 5G Core system, making it ideal for Beyond 5G (B5G) research, development, and testing. By adhering to standardized practices, this project promotes network programmability and openness in B5G environments. Learn more about it »
