Invoker
Check out the invokers of OpenCAPIF and their contributions to the ecosystem.
The following Network Applications are invoking APIs that have been validated to work with OpenCAPIF:

5G-SIEM by FOGUS INNOVATIONS & SERVICES P.C.
5G-SIEM is a Network Application for 5G Security Information and Event Management. 5G-SIEM simplifies the process of integrating information from a 5G non-public network (NPN) into a Security Information and Event Management system (SIEM). Given that 5G NPNs amplify the demand for a robust security and control system, this application can facilitate and streamline the information flow to and from the network to third-party entities. The 5G-SIEM is able to leverage any exposed API from any network domain. In this view, OpenCAPIF has been used as an API management authority for testing 5G-SIEM interaction with 5G network core, allowing a seamlessly and securely discovery and consumption of NEF APIs.

MC-VAL by Nemergent Solutions
MC-VAL brings the Mission Critical Vertical Application Layer (VAL) as validator of the functions and APIs exposed by the MC-SEAL stratum following Service Enabler Architecture Layer (SEAL) architecture. Thus, MC-VAL depends on having an available MC-SEAL in the system that is registered in CAPIF together with all the APIs. MC-VAL could validate all available functions or a subset of them depending on the specific vertical needs. Among its functionalities, MC-SEAL provides access to APIs to handle management servers like identity, key, configuration or group application functions. Additionally, it offers access to location info and its management, plus functions like analytics or notification service.

CAMARA Location Retrieval by NCSRD
An open source implementation of Location Retrieval API from the Device Location APIs Group for CAMARA Project. This service provides the location of a mobile line as detected by the mobile network operator based on the available network data. The implementation showcases the ease of rendering a detected location from a 5G System (Open5GS) to a netApp in a cloud native environment. The communication with the open5gs network is done through the Common API Framework (CAPIF) while acting as an invoker on the CAPIF which communicates with a CAPIF provider via token that retrieves from CAPIF invoker discovery service. NEF - MonitoringEvent API by NCSRD
An open source implementation of Monitoring Event API from the Network Exposure Function (NEF) based on 3GPP specifications. This project enables Location Reporting Services for User Equipment (UE) via the 5G Core, delivering location information to Application Functions (AF) upon request. It demonstrates a practical API capable of securely communicating with the 5G System to retrieve location reporting data by the usage of the Common API Framework (CAPIF). It acts as a provider in the CAPIF Framework authorizing incoming requests from external applications. Designed with a cloud-native architecture, it ensures seamless integration with any 5G Core system, making it ideal for Beyond 5G (B5G) research, development, and testing. By adhering to standardized practices, this project promotes network programmability and openness in B5G environments. Learn more about it »
